One Last Family Get together!

Another Family gathering. This time it was at Laura & Stephen's to have a last catch up with everyone before Relle, La la & Jason went home. It was great to have you around, thanks for coming home & will see you again soon.

Lunch time!
And Old Pa in his glory with all his off spring.

Just a Little more Water

With harvest ticking along very nicely and the fellas hoping to get it all wrapped up before the end of January, the heavens opened again and dumped another 88 ml. It made the water run again & even better than before. With everything saturated it filled everything to overflowing very quickly. The Nalang Creek will flow for quite a while.

Down at the corner, Servi & South Lillimur Road. Spotty will have to get out his canoe to harvest that bit of wheat that they left in the corner.

Water flowing over the South Servi Road. Was a great meeting place for the locals to ponder the issue!

Grosser's swamp at the same corner

The Geegeela - Custon Road intersection. Matt found it a little difficult coming to work on this morning!

Continuing the Birthdays

We only just get into the New Year and it is time to celebrate Matt's birthday. We decided while the family were still home to go out for Dinner. An early celebration for Matt & Relle's birthdays. Matt had the pleasure of spending his day in the Semi carting grain. Kara, Jack & Will had the birthday Muffin Cake on the road with him, much to Jack's delight!

Kara, La la, Julz, Mitchell & Nathan catching up after a wonderful meal at the local pub.

Then only 4 days later we were able to celebrate Relle's Birthday. Laura made her a beautiful castle birthday cake much to the children's delight! Well done Lou.

Relle blowing out her candles and being watched to make sure she does it right & all in one go!

Now it is Master Toby's turn. (mind the spit, comes at no extra cost!)

La la's turn & she has had lots of practise.

A big blow from Jack when it was his turn

Uncle David turns 60
We travelled up to David & Carolyn's the next day (9th) to help him celebrate his 60th Birthday. It was also Old Pa's 83rd Birthday.
Double Celebrations!
We had a wonderful day out on their back lawn under the beautiful trees in a gorgeous setting. The children had a ball & so did the big ones. Thank you Carolyn for the great food, great company & a great day.

We couldn't keep the candles alight so out came the sparklers! Jenni did a great job with the cake. Beautiful & very more-ish!

Birthdays

Toby starts off the birthday rounds. He had a family gathering on the 29th Dec to celebrate his 2nd Birthday. Laura made him his favourite, a tractor birthday cake.

Everyone singing the Birthday song. The littlies have it down pat. They have had lots of practise with all the family birthdays.

Pa has been at it again and made Toby a chalk & magnetic board

Another wonderful present, a cordless drill with the safety goggles. Dad's apprentice!

Boxing Day 2010

On Boxing Day it was the Altus Family Christmas gathering. Fortunately we didn't have to move, they all came to the farm. It was a lovely day catching up with everyone especially those we don't see very often through the year.

Christmas 2010

We had a wonderful time over Christmas with all the Heinrich Family being home. We had Old Pa, Uncle Bing & Kym over for the day as well. The grandies had a wonderful time playing with their new toys & plenty of fun outside chasing bubbles in the sun. Thanks Aunty Julz!
