Christmas, Birthdays & Family Times

Christmas 2012 came upon us with a rush. We were very fortunate to have almost all of the family at home. We missed you Sami. I guess someone has to stay on the home front to keep the rest of the population at Cranebrook safe. With all the grandies and family it was a very happy and noisy time. Loved every minute of it.  A Christmas Eve service is put on by our Sunday School children. They tell the Christmas story in song & play.  Lexie, La, Toby, Jack & Will all took part and did a great job of being Angels & Shepherds.

Christmas Day the children were up and at 'em to see what gifts were awaiting them. A great delight to see the expressions on their faces as they opened their parcels.

 Barbie is always a favourite

Lexie scored another pillow pet. Wonder how much room is left on her bed for her to sleep!

Aunty Kara is a favourite when it comes to story telling. She does it so well.

 Water Slide fun for all

On Boxing Day we ventured down to Kingston for the Altus Family Christmas get together. We had beautiful weather with good food, fellowship, noise and fun. Thank you  Aunty Merry & Uncle Glen.

The next day Toby was lucky enough to score an ice cream cake so he had some more candles to blow out

New Year's day we went over to Matt & Kara's to have a swim in the boat lake & to take a spin in the little tub.

Another birthday and this time it was Matt's. They celebrated it down at the beach.

Aunty Kara didn't put 37 candles on his cake!

A few days later we celebrated Relle's 35th, Old Pa's 85th and Matt's 37th Birthdays at the farm. We were a family down due to the gastric bug but Matt, Kara & boys got to have some of the beautiful cake.

Laura's fabulous creation............Matt's semi loaded with hay and sheep & some licorice slice as a bonus.

A few days later Jack & Will went with Ma ma down to the beach for a couple of days. We had a great time swimming & spending as much time down on the beach. Aunty Laura, Toby & Beau came down on the 2nd day.  All the boys had been asking to go to see the Cape Jaffa Lighthouse. So off we went.
