Relle had warned us that she had plenty of adventures in store for us this visit. AND we sure had some fun. Always something to do and look forward to each day. First off the ranks was a visit to the Rafting Centre for a spot of Rafting.

On Sunday we took a train ride up the mountains to Wentworth and found a lovely spot by the Lake for a picnic lunch and a play in the park and some water fun.
Then it was time after the walk back for an ice cream treat
We entertained the other passengers on the train ride home. Oh, we love the reaction of country kids when experiencing a new adventure!

On Monday we were off to Taronga Zoo. Has been a little while since our last visit so it was a fun and exciting day.

We had a wonderful day at the Zoo and then a lovely meal at a Pizza Cafe on the way home while we waited for the crazy Sydney traffic to thin out to our standards.

Still the adventures came. Next morning we were off to Wollongong and we found a wonderful park for the kids to play in. The flying fox was a hit. We had to prise them off to allow other kids a chance to play on it.
A swim at the little inlet was a great way to cool off.
This is the reason we went to Wollongong. Steve jumped out of a plane for his Birthday!!!!!

After another adventure filled day Steve celebrated his birthday with an ice cream cake. Much to the delight of all the kids.
The next day it was La's turn to celebrate her birthday her style. That included a bush walk, lunch and swim with her little friends and the family.
