Our Road Trip

Early March we decided on a road trip to Sydney to visit Relle, Sami, La & Leyla. We had a wonderful time with them. Pa got to spend time with his girls. Leyla went shopping with Pa & Sami to the blokes shops and loved it. We were able to visit La's classroom and meet her teacher. Watched La play Netball, do her Gymnastics and see the girls do their swimming lessons. We even had time to find some new playgrounds. We found a 'spaceship' park and a very cool 'rope ship' park. Ma ma & Relle had some time for some retail therapy.  Had a lovely catch up with Jill, Morgs, Lucho and Jill's Mum & Dad. Relle and Ma ma had a trip into the city for a night of baby sitting young Flynn. It was wonderful to see Honor, Luke and Biddy.
We had a great time and can't wait to do it again. Thanks for having us.

Mitchell's Visit

Mitchell settled in very well at the Farm. He had lots to do. Each day there was something on. He had lots of play dates with Beau and was lucky enough to be able to go with Beau to Kinder Gym. The boys had lots of fun there. They loved the bikes on the tracks. He was able to spend time with Aunty Kara, Will and Lucy.  They had a great time together and he was able to go with Will to Play group at the Frances School.
Thanks for the visit Mitchell.

More Birthdays

In February we did a road trip to Echuca to help Mitchell celebrate his 4th Birthday. We had a lovely weekend with the troops and then Mitchell came home with Ma ma & Pa for a holiday at the farm. Thanks for the great weekend.

On the Monday back at the farm was Mitch's actual birthday. We couldn't have it pass without some fanfare.

On the next weekend Lou celebrated her 30th Birthday, so it was a good excuse to get together again for some more celebrations. While we were at it, we celebrated Mitch's again, plus Miss Lucy  1yr (who is Aunty Lou's twin)  and Nathan's 33rd

Boxing Day with the Altus Clan

Sticking with tradition we the Altus mob gather together on Boxing Day to celebrate Christmas. This year was no exception and we ventured to Jenni & Troy's for the day. Thanks to all for making it a wonderful day. The kids had a great time playing back yard cricket, having fun on the trampoline and being able to use the Altus' new pool. Fun was had by all! (We have given Uncle David the challenge to hold it at his house next year. Reno's should be done by them??)

Some brave ones venturing into the cold water...

Once in and the body got used to the water all was well.
Some of the water babies played in there for a long time.

What a good looking bunch. Thanks ladies for a wonderful day.

Christmas at the Farm

With Ma ma feeling a bit under the weather the Christmas preparations fell to Relle, Kara & Louie. Thanks to these wonderful ladies for making Christmas so special for us all. We started our morning with the two young ladies having a wonderful time opening their presents. La got what was on her Christmas List & Leyla is now a budding musician with her piano. (Relle has more photos on her blog)

We ventured over to Matt & Kara's for the rest of the day and had a wonderful time with family members. We did miss our Dad, Pa & Old Pa due to all patients being in quarantine at the Bordertown Hospital.
