When the Heavens Open

Look what happens when it rains! The Boat Lake over on Matt's place has filled. Time to find the little ol' tinnie, drop a line and lets see if the fish are biting. Or if you wish to be alittle more athletic we could do a little 'windsurfing' or canoeing instead.
A fantastic sight. A full dam/lake

When the weather turns cooler!

There is always something to do even when the weather turns sour. Pa can find a job or two just to keep themselves out of trouble. Here Matt & Pa are cleaning some seed.

It goes from the green "beddie" to the seed cleaner, then out & up the shifter to the silo. Then all the 'crappy grain' goes into the bin that Pa is lookin at. Ma ma's chooks will love that stuff.

Young Jack

Smooches for Aunty Lou

Soooooo cute!

Ready,Set,Go!

There was just no holding Pa back once those beans were ripe, he reckons that they were calling him to come and get them off & into the bin!

And into the bin they go!

I think that Pa is at his happiest when he is sitting in his big red header watching all that grain go into the box.

Windrowing Canola

It has got to that time of the year again.

Pa & Matt have had a couple of busy days windrowing the canola.

Remembrance Day

Kara, Jack & Ma ma visited the Frances School for their 1st Remembrance Day Service.

All the children are singing the Remembrance Day Hymn.

After the Service the school held an Open Day to show off their fantastic little school & to officially open their new Resource Centre/ICT & Kitchen.
