Early March Pa & Ma ma did a roadie to Sydney to see a couple of gorgeous young ladies & to spend some time with Relle & Sami as well. We had a lovely stay. Ma ma was able to have some retail therapy with Relle, Pa & Sami had the time to spend in the 4x4 shops to dream & to spend Pa's hard earnt dollars. Pa was able to catch up on some baby sitting with Leyla & by the looks of things they had a great time together. La was able to show us her school & we were able to join in on her activities through out the week.

Welcome Miss Lucy Grace Heinrich

On the 24th Feb 2013 we started the day out knowing that we would be welcoming a new addition to the Heinrich Family and also celebrating Laura's birthday. We seem to have this wonderful ability to share many of our birthdays within the family. Laura was born on her Great Grandfather's birthday (Papa Jack  McGrice) and so the tradition continues.

(A great job Tobs)

After having cake with the Aunty Laura, Uncle Steve & Toby, Jack & Will were ever so keen to get down to Naracoorte to see Mum, Dad & to meet their new baby sister.

And meet her they did. Great excitement!!!!!

Mama & Pa were lucky enough to have a hold and cuddle. A gorgeous little girl for us to love & spoil!!!

Old Pa was eager to meet his newest Great Grandie & had the boys telling him all about her

Ma ma gets to have lots of cuddles and chats with little Miss Lucy

Christmas, Birthdays & Family Times

Christmas 2012 came upon us with a rush. We were very fortunate to have almost all of the family at home. We missed you Sami. I guess someone has to stay on the home front to keep the rest of the population at Cranebrook safe. With all the grandies and family it was a very happy and noisy time. Loved every minute of it.  A Christmas Eve service is put on by our Sunday School children. They tell the Christmas story in song & play.  Lexie, La, Toby, Jack & Will all took part and did a great job of being Angels & Shepherds.

Christmas Day the children were up and at 'em to see what gifts were awaiting them. A great delight to see the expressions on their faces as they opened their parcels.

 Barbie is always a favourite

Lexie scored another pillow pet. Wonder how much room is left on her bed for her to sleep!

A few days later we celebrated Relle's 35th, Old Pa's 85th and Matt's 37th Birthdays at the farm. We were a family down due to the gastric bug but Matt, Kara & boys got to have some of the beautiful cake.

Laura's fabulous creation............Matt's semi loaded with hay and sheep & some licorice slice as a bonus.

A few days later Jack & Will went with Ma ma down to the beach for a couple of days. We had a great time swimming & spending as much time down on the beach. Aunty Laura, Toby & Beau came down on the 2nd day.  All the boys had been asking to go to see the Cape Jaffa Lighthouse. So off we went.

It now has a Roof!

After a couple of weeks spell it was time to put the roof on the new shed.  Poppy Hop came out on the Sunday avo and helped us load the roofing iron onto the top of the loaded semi with his big drilling crane. That way the fellas could slide the sheets of iron straight on to the roof frame. All very simple really!

The roofing iron on top of the load.

Ta da........................  roof on and looking good.
The South  & west walls will be put on at a later date.
