Sydney Bound

In March we ventured up to Relle and Sami's for our annual visit. We had a wonderful relaxing time with them and the girls. We were able to visit Leyla's pre school, watch La's gymnastics, their swimming lessons, go to playgroup, tour the Royal National Park. So many things to do and to keep us occupied. When Pa go bored he decided to give the car some much TLC. When he finished he didn't think that we needed to invest in a newer car. I may not get the activities in the correct order but we had a wonderful holiday.

We stopped in at Garie Surf Beach on our travels to try our hand at a bit of body surfing.

All Ma ma managed to do was fill up the bathers with sand and kept getting knocked over by the waves. La had a ball and would still be there if we let her.

Pa and Leyla were content to just sit in the sand and sun and eat lunch.

We wandered on and found a lovely spot at the Bundeena town beach where the little creek flows to the sea. A very pleasant spot to spend some time relaxing and watching the girls swim and play in the shallows.

Leyla had a great time just doing her own thing. And of course there is always a treat when you visit such a beautiful place.......ice-creams!!!!

Our last port of call for the day was at Wattamolla Beach.

La spied the cliff jumpers over the river and decided that she wanted to have a go. She is our little thrill seeker. Off she ventured and we waited on the other side. We waited and waited and waited.I think that she had to spend some time in convincing herself that it was OK to jump. It looked pretty scary at that height. Perhaps she waited too long in thinking about the jump before she finally attempted it.
