Early April, Matt commissioned his parents to help scrub, scrape, wash, sander and paint his house in Brisbane so he could put it up for sale. We all set off for Brisbane with the task in mind and had some fun on the way with the Grandies.
We stopped in Swan Hill for brekkie and a play in the park and then set off again.
Lunch was another couple of hours along the track where we stopped alongside some other travellers in the park bay.
The trailer was a good spot for the girls to have their lunch
Onward we went and the next day we made it to Goondiwindi in time for lunch
Enjoying time in the Park & eating lunch
Jack found a nice big tree to climb
Later in the avo Kara and the children left us and ventured on up to the Olsen Farm at Wondoan to catch up with all of the family. We continued on to Brisbane. Over the next couple of days we washed, scrubbed, filled, sandered and painted the inside and out of the house.
Pa is one who would not like an opportunity to pass by with out making the most of it. So he invited Jill, Clarrie, Daryl and Izzy over to help out. And that they did by bringing their wheel barrow, whipper snipper and other gardening tools. He put everyone to work and in no time the garden was looking ship shape.
Matt and Clarrie surveying the completed job and appear well pleased!
A Group photo at the end of a job well done.
Thanks to all for your help and for the great catch up.
