On Easter Sat, Pa came in off the tractor and said that we are off to Sydney. After Mama got him to do a couple of jobs, we packed our bags and off we went. We had an over nighter in Shepparton and arrived in Penrith at 4 pm on Easter Sunday to help them celebrate with a meal at Jill & Morg's. It was a great week being able to catch up and spend time with the Ercan Family.
We didn't give Relle much time to organise an itinerary for the week but we always found something to do most days.
Easter Monday we decided to take a walk up to the Nepean River Lookout. It is a beautiful spot to just watch the world go by and take in the scenery.
We then decided to continue the walk, up to another Look out.
It was a longer walk than we realised or remembered.
Finally made it!
It was worth it, the view was spectacular
After some food, everyone felt so much better. AND off we walked back to the start.
A couple of days later we set off on another adventure and visited the Wheeny Campground up in the Blue Mountains area.
Enjoying the creek area and let Rosie off for a run
The campground
Next stop on our adventure trail was the Upper Colo Reserve. It was a busy place due to the school holidays. Lots of families making the most of the mild weather and the great camping spot.
Plenty of water for all to make use of.
It was Pa's turn to cook so it was a night out to a very nice restaurant.
The annual photo
Leyla was in her element, she had Pa to play UNO. Many, many games over the week and he didn't win too many of them!
Relle teaching the girls how to play 'Patience'
Thanks for a wonderful week of catch up and adventures.
On our way home we came upon this chap with his flying gear (para gliding) at Raywood. He lives in Bendigo and he left his vehicle 5 kms out of Inglewood.
He gets himself air born with this winch attached to the rear of his vehicle.
A very interesting chap.
